The JS Captures website showcases digital media by JS Captures and allows customers to browse and purchase digital media from athletic events.

Payment & Checkout

All purchases are processed through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment platform. Stripe supports manual card input and integrates with other popular payment services like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

JS Captures does not store or process any payment information directly.

File Delivery

Once payment is complete:

  1. Customers receive an email with a link to a private webpage featuring selected images.
  2. Downloads are available for each image.
  3. A button near the featured image page will direct customers to the full folder with all of the images from the purchase.

No Refunds

Due to the nature of digital media, refunds are not possible. All sales are final.

Misuse Policy

If any users spam, abuse forms, or make excessive requests in a short time, they will automatically be rate-limited or blocked from the site.

Impersonation & Fraud

Anyone using files from JS Captures to impersonate the business or its owner will be reported to the appropriate authorities and legal action may follow.

Liability

JS Captures is not responsible for:

  • Payment errors on the payment service(s) end.
  • Email delivery issues.
  • Problems with file access via third parties.
  • Misuse of media by customers after purchase.

Consent & Privacy of Subjects

Anyone who appears in the digital media files has either given permission or been part of a public event where consent for public sharing and sale is understood.

To protect the privacy of subjects:

  • If someone visible in a photo wants a picture by JS Captures to be taken down, they can contact JS Captures with proof of identity.
  • Depending on the request, JS Captures may:
    • Edit the file and blur the subject beyond recognition,
    • Edit the file and remove them.
    • Or delete the file in its entirety
  • For coverage of athletic teams, team members are given exclusive early access to their files. These images will not be made public or sold until team members have had a chance to view them.
