Ownership

All photos and media on this site are the property of JS Captures and are protected by copyright law. JS Captures holds full rights and may revoke use or access to any file at any time.

Usage Rights for Customers

Buyers of digital media are granted a personal-use license, which includes:

Downloading and storing the media.
Sharing on personal social media accounts.
Making personal prints (e.g. for a photo album or wall print).

Buyers may not:

Resell the media.
Edit or alter the media for resale or redistribution.
Use the media for commercial purposes unless a separate agreement has been made.

Business/Organization Use

Businesses, institutions, or other organizations that wish to use JS Captures’ media for advertising, promotion, or social media must contact JS Captures directly. If approved:

The business may use the media for promotion, commercial, and social media sharing.
Resale is still not allowed and is non-negotiable. Legal authorities followed by legal action will follow if resale occurs.

Consent & Privacy

Anyone recognizable in a media file has either:

Given consent directly.
Or participated in a public event where media use is implied and understood.

To protect privacy:

Anyone who appears in a media file and does not want it shown or sold can request removal by contacting JS Captures with reasonable proof of identity.
JS Captures will then either edit the file and blur the person beyond recognition, remove them from the media file via editing tools, or delete the file in its entirety.
For athletic teams, team members will be given early access to review their files before any public release or sale.

Violations

If someone misuses JS Captures’ media (such as for commercial use without permission, or misrepresents the content), JS Captures may:

Issue copyright claims or takedown notices.
Revoke that person’s access or rights to any JS Captures content.
In cases of repeated or serious misuse, JS Captures will report the violation to legal authorities, and legal action may follow.

Impersonation

Anyone using JS Captures’ content to impersonate the business or its owner will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
